Activities for International Day of Charity | 5 September

International Charity Day, held on September 5 each year, is a global day dedicated to promoting charity and philanthropy.

The day was established by the UN General Assembly in 2012 with the aim of:

• Raise awareness of the importance of charity in fighting poverty and promoting sustainable development.
• Mobilize individuals, companies and organizations to participate in charitable activities.
• Recognize the efforts that charities and philanthropists make to improve the world.
